Hey Jasmine, Just to let you know, the mySupermarket app. shut down a few years ago, but the Trolley app. is a good alternative.

How about recycling of materials such as plastic, metal and glass? A great way to clean up weight on your budget is by dividing garbage and thus earn back a bit of what was spent on various products, such as glass and plastic bottles, old newspapers? It is not exactly saving but it is still a great way to clean off a bit of all domestic costs. Another great idea, I’ve seen while doing end of tenancy and domestic services for clients is the use of faucets and other bathroom accessories, that reduce water usage in a fresh and clean way, simply by boosting pressure and reducing water and etc. Just my cup of tea there.

51 th way to save money on electricity, some energy saving bulbs/tubes use as much electric when switched on each time as they do in one hour of use! so feel free to leave one on, say over lunch hour or anytime you go from room to room within one hour! It goes against all logic but true. The old saying turn the light out does not necessarily apply to flourescent and new energy saving bulbs, in fact I am wondering how much wasted energy there is now, especialy in flats where the light is on a switch timer for only a few minutes but frequently and repeatedly turned on by residents? compared to an old type filament bulb!
