This is a great article. It will help disabled people to earn money at home. Many disabled people still want to live normally and make money. Nice post!

Hi, I have a few problems, from loss of hearing, to osteoarthritis and some mental health problems.
I was on ESA, then 66 yrs came round and no one wants to know. I have a career of HR/Training.
The benefits system is a mine field, it seems if your name fits everything is granted, if not lie after lie is told, written and come to a brick wall. DWP, say everything I have is a symptom!!??
even went to tribunal with PIP, Am just writing a letter, as my referrals for PIP and LWR came via DWP. AND HOPEFULLY have the decision over turned. Even state pension messed up, and didn’t send forms etc to claim.
I don’t want to be at the end of my career, so hope I can find a company disability confident, or find something to be self employed.
I found this site looking for ways to make money.
I eat by doing surveys on line and turn points into food store vouchers, or I don’t eat. How does this happen to people !,…

In reply to Jasmine Birtles. There are not restrictions on earnings and amount of time you work for in relation to PIP, as it isn't a work related benefit. Other benefits like Universal credit or ESA will be subject to restrictions and have a permitted work policy associated with them.

Hello! I am on disability income and I want to do something useful for myself! I have an anxiety disorder and it affects my daily life! But I want to live again and have more income to be able to contribute in the house! I want to do better for myself and feel normal agin and want people to work with me and under me. Hi, I’m an artist and have been unable to get my art out there since I have seizures that have reoccured. I am unable to get outside of the home since I am unable to drive now, I want to make a site that I can sell my paintings to raise money for Epilepsy Research in CA and also for myself. My work can be seen on FB at Richard Davis Fine Art Murals. I’ve been donating epilepsy paintings to the Epilepsy research for the last 6 years and the last seizure I had made me lose the ability to draw or paint until 4 weeks and then came back. I want to support people with SUDEP ‘sudden unexpected death from seizures, this is how I lost my son and want to support others using my art and life experience. Is there a way to do this?

Hi. I worked for a high street bank for 23 years until I was medically retired. I have a young family still and struggling financially. I hate the fact I can’t add to the household finances. I was quite interested in the proof reading. I’ve tried the surveys & have not made any money as yet. It really affects my self esteem and mental health which is something I’ve never suffered from before. I’d love to feel useful again.

Having a disability should never prevent you from making money. And you prove that all too well in your article. That is the great tip for anyone who has someone making money. Thanks for sharing this.
